This position is responsible for operating a company pump truck and driving to various locations to service/pump septic tanks. Digging, lifting, physical labor is approximately 50% of the job.
Driving is approximately 50%.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Technician Services
• Provide professional service and clear communication to customers, contractors and office staff
• Accurate record keeping & maps
• Fully complete paperwork: pricing, locations, conditions
• Septic tank inspection, cleaning and documentation
• Comply with rules & regulations at disposal plants
Customer Relations
• Observe and note defective septic system components on work order
• Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with the customer
• Notify the customer in writing of any unsatisfactory conditions observed
REQUIREMENTS:
• Job requires Class B with Tanker Endorsement
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds routinely
• Mandatory drug testing and background check
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Has prior septic experience and is mechanically inclined
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
